CELTA and TESOL Certification Courses
The Teacher Training Centre of ECC (Thailand) was established in 1990 with the aim of maintaining the quality of in-house teaching and to provide pre-service and in-service training for other native and non-native speaker teachers in Thailand. All courses are taught by our highly qualified teacher trainers, who amongst them have over 60-years English language teaching experience in 5 continents.
Courses are held at our centrally located Big C Rajdamri centre in Bangkok, on the tropical island paradise of Phuket and in the northern city of Chiang Mai. Off-site courses may be held by arrangement.

Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA)
The Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) (formerly known as "the RSA" and/or the CTEFLA) is accredited by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES). The course is designed for both native speakers and non-native speakers with a near native-speaker competence, who are aged over 18 and have a high level of formal education. Previous teaching experience is not required.

The course is highly practical in nature and aims to provide a thorough grounding in the teaching methodology and language analysis necessary for effective English teaching. Cambridge YL Extension to CELTA course for teaching Young learners
This 60-hour extension course is especially designed for CELTA qualified teachers who wish to extend their skills to include those necessary for teaching English to young learners. The course is based on teaching practice and lesson evaluation, and is very practical in content and approach. more

Introduction to Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)
The course is designed for native and non-native speakers wishing to gain a basic qualification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. It also serves as an excellent preliminary course for those interested in the Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA), especially those who have been out of any kind of full-time education for a while. It aims to provide a brief introduction to teaching methodology and language analysis and contains a small practical component. The course is recognised by the Thai Ministry of Education. more
