Administration Charge
There is a 300B charge for initial testing and registration. The course of study is free. If you cannot afford the administration charge you can apply to the Director of Training to see if you qualify for exemption.
What you will find in the classes
Your teachers will be friendly and enthusiastic. Nearly all of them will be native speakers from many different countries - Britain, the USA, Australia and elsewhere. One or two trainees are sometimes non-native speakers who have reached a native-speaker level of English while studying or living abroad.
All of them will use a communicative approach to teaching with the emphasis on speaking.
Classes will usually be small. The maximum class size is 16 but there are often only 10 students or less in the class.
You will be able to listen to several different native-speaker accents and to practise reading from newspapers and magazines etc. which were produced for native speakers.
You will have lots of opportunities to practise speaking in English with other students and the teacher. You will also have chances to revise your English grammar and to improve your pronunciation.
And who knows - you might make some English-speaking friends!
