Our Staff
ECC is truly multicultural in the fact that our staff's extensive experience spans not only Thailand, but far corners of the world ranging from New Zealand to Egypt. So no matter what your nationality - there's bound to be someone working for us that understands where you're coming from. Below are a few short paragraphs about some of the staff you might meet:

Paul McCleave
Paul is the Academic Director at ECC and is responsible for both the teacher training,
academic and teacher recruitment departments at ECC. Usually based in Bangkok,
Paul is often seen training at the other centers too! He’s always on hand to assist
trainees (and trainers!) in any way he can.

Krissakorn Phromsawadht (Kate)
Kate is responsible for the smooth running of all the teacher training
courses. She enjoys making sure that everything works properly and is
always willing to help trainee teachers in any way she can. When she
is not coordinating teacher training courses, she loves to travel and
see new places. Visiting new places and meeting new people make her
very happy.

Garth Marshall
Garth joined ECC in 2004 and started his career here in our busy corporate training department. There he was responsible for designing and implementing training programmes for corporate clients. He joined the teacher training department in 2007. He likes working out and cycling.

Derek Keever
Derek joined ECC as a teacher trainer in May 2008. He is a tutor on the CELTA course and works as a trainer on various in-house TESOL courses. In his free time he likes reading and exercising.

Guus van der Made
Guus has a wide range of teaching experience in both Asia and Europe. He joined our teacher training team in early 2010. He enjoys drama and the arts.
